Ergonomically Correct Chairs & Reading Glasses.

I guess I should do this again....

since it's been a long time. A lot has happened since August....duh. Beware.. it's been so long this blog post will probably be out of order and a little crazy..here goes!

School is flying by...Red's third grade year is awesome. Her teacher is just a doll and very creative. She loves Red to pieces- so that makes Mama happy. And she is a friend to me...so Win, Win. She even came to a basketball game...on a Saturday..and she brought her husband and one of her beautiful daughters. Now that's a good teacher.

In other AWESOME news, I went to Brazil the first week in December on a mission trip. It was amazing...what a gift. I learned so much about myself, the power of God and how He uses even little old broken me. I was probably in culture shock the whole time, gawking out of the bus windows, taking pictures of things, and sounding like a real country girl. But I appreciated every bit...and I know God meant for me to go and do and see every thing I saw. The people in Brazil were passionate, and in the churches they were there for one reason- to worship God. They didn't care what they were wearing,  how their hair looked to others, or what kind of home they went back to...because they mostly had nothing. It was exhilarating to see REAL, TRUE worship- such authentic love. We hosted a Christmas party for the children and families who come to the feeding program at the mission. The gifts were similar to Operation Christmas Child boxes, but in Ziploc bags instead. The excitement of the children over small items...towels, toothbrushes, small toys....enough to change your heart towards the excess many of us have here in America. Here's some pictures...

Also...in January...this happened...
It really was a great birthday. I was treated like a queen by family and friends. I had not one, but TWO, fun birthday dinners with friends! So many sweet calls, texts, Facebook posts, cards, and gifts...made me feel down-right special. So now I sit here typing and I had to move my computer over...because my carpel tunnel is actin' up...and I can't see my computer screen cause my Walgreens eye glasses aren't strong enough.....I need one of these...

Well that's all for now...keep it classy...
